Title: Adding Silk Screens to home etched boards?

Hi every one

Is there any whay of adding a silk screen to home etched boards.

It would be fantstic for labling pins and marking components.

One idea i had was etching on a double sided pcb and on the top have the out lines and after coat the copper. (i dont want it to cause a short in the sytem).

You apply it in the same manner you do with the traces except with different colored ink.
