Initializing EasyVR Voice Recognition

Axon II MCU
EasyVR
Servo
I have tried writing the program myself and using the hex file on this website, however, whenever i power the Axon II board, it is completely unresponsive.  I have also logging in HT and i receive...
"Axon Initiated

 voice recognition initializing ..."
It seems to get caught on the VR initialization. Has anyone else encountered this problem, or have a solution? Thanks in advance

The EasyVR has successfully intialized one, but nothing has worked since then.  It seems as if no one is willing to help with this problem.  If someone is able to lend any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
