want a throwing mechanism

frendz i want a throwing mechanism to throw a table tennis ball in the goal post
iam making a robot which will float on water and it has to collect balls above the water and put it in goal without going in the goal and there is one ball inside the water so how can i take that ball from the water plz suggest me some mechanism to throw tthe ball into the goal r any other mechanism plz help guyz

Just use a motorized paddle and then that will catapult it into the goal

or you could make that hotwheels part that shoots cars waterproof and a bit wider. (more acurate)

sorry i didnt mean make...i moddified mine to shoot bouncy balls...only about 2meters tho  :'( lol but ping pong balls are lighter.

lighter isnt always better.

take a lightly crumpled up piece pf paper and throw it.

and the same piece densely packed. the small dense piece will fly farther, faster and more acurate

ya i know. i usally put a weight at the back of things i throw in class. anyway nuf talk of this. (off topic)

well two wheels spinning opposite ways something goes through middle touches both wheels and gets pushed through fasssst. the other is just paddles stuck into a cork or something and it spins and the paddle hits the balls (not very accurate tho) usially shoots it up or straight down.

well if the paddles were thinner , then it would be accurate

small enough compartments for the ping pong ball to slip in and not move around
