Robot Competion Question
« on: August 30, 2008, 09:32:19 AM »
I'm getting ready to make my own robotics website. I was thinking about holding robotic competitions for users of the website, however, I have no clue how to hold these competition since users of the website are from all around the world. Does anyone have any suggestions?

have them all make robots that can show up at one spot in the world. That's the challenge, to bring the robots together.

Bringing stuff together from all over the world is damn expensive.
You could set some mileages or scoring system each robot has to beat. Depending on how well it manifested, it gets points.

Of course, you will have to rely on user submitted videos.
Check out my homepage for in depth tutorials on microcontrollers and electronics.

Have them ship their robots to you.  Promise to ship them back after the competition.
