Hi,

Why dont you just use a PICOLOR?

You dont need to know much about electronics and you can pretty much just connect it to a PC, I'm doing exactly the same thing as you with a sumo type robot.

This display has input/outputs that can drive motors and read sensors all using the PC, you can even display things like battery voltage etc..

If you find a good radio board let me know because I need one for exactly this.

I've done a little video on Youtube, I plan to do some more once I have designed some more icons.

PICOLOUR smart color display, is it really easy to use?
