i have a dream to build a rock lee bot but haveing trouble with the basics of how the joints work with survos
ive read thru some forms but i havent found any thing that realy explanes what is going on i could use some help thanx in advance

i have read almost all of it  8) but could you post a google sketch up of how to attach the servo to the knee or send me to a tutorial i read the one about the robot arm but im still confused on how the knee works

also is there a specific way to do a design drawing like in the robot arm tutorial i find that i keep cluttering up my drawing with notes

There isn't a tutorial on robot knees . . .

I'm guessing you are making a biped? Search the forum and google for pics of bipeds, and see how others do it. Tons out there. I design all my stuff in CAD.

Have a look at my ERP, as arms are basically the same as legs:
