Hi,

The pages you link to show you how to use it (with schematics and source code). If you don't get it from those pages, I don't see how anyone else would be able to help you?

no,I think you didn't get the point...
I mean I have problem in how I it could be useful in my case...
I want to search  the field and find a can...so they told me to use a compass but I don't know how I should do it...

Well, i guess the main way would be to wait until the compass goes awal because of the can in the magnetic field? Do you have to use a compass? There are probably sensors better suited to this task..

That compass is supported by WebbotLib and the Axon microcontroller. Simple plug and play.

That said, I think this is a better idea to search for a can:

please look this one.there is a black line.it would finish before the ramp.the can is in the upper part...

I know how you feel, YouTube was once blocked here in Thailand. Along with many other websites that are still blocked :-X

Anyway, all the walls are white, and you know where the can will be, so just use a color sensor to detect the can.
