samples help

ok I was planning on getting some headers because I plan on getting a Axon soon and will need some headers/wire crimpers/crimps for the headers.to make something like this: http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8672
I wanted to order free samples from here http://www.samtec.com/
but just couldnt figure out how to get the correct free samples.
any help is appreciated.

I have used them many times (and messed up plenty too...). I believe part #     TSW-150-07-G-S     would be correct for header pins, 50 pins in a single row.

I just get those from molex (they made them first anyways  )

I still cant find the right headers from molex. plus it looks like they charge you for shipping for free samples

I go through housings/pins crazy fast, so I just buy them in bulk from mouser. Like enough for 100 housings - you'll definitely save if you go this route, and you can't get samples forever!

It'll only take 4 or 5 projects to use them all up, so its not actually as much as it sounds.
