Can i use a phidget rotation sensor (1109) with an arduino re picaxe microcontroller?

phidget rotation sensor (1109) is just a potentiometer of 10K ohm.
1109 - Rotation Sensor US$7.00
You can use it with any microcontroller that have ADC analog input
