hey guys,

just wondering if anybody here is familiar with the work of Jaimie Mantzel AKA Jamius AKA JMEmantzel on youtube? he is in the process of building a giant robot (hence my little messege on my info box to the side ^^) capable of being driven from the inside...over the build he has been overcoming obsticals such as...living in the middle of the forest with not electricity! he also built his own buildings including a mini aircraft hanger style 4 story building christened "the banana building", which he made by himself (like all his stuff) and has many cool features including a trampaline set into the floor (well duh!)

for those of you who havnt seen his work befor here is a short complination of clips some guy made from his seires...sums it up in about 5 minuits:

Jamius - True American

of course it's a lot more detailed than that, but it is also very funny and informative, i urge you guys to all watch his videos...guarantee you will lol within the first 10 secs :-)

here's a link to his youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/JMEMantzel

enjoy!

iv been thinking of building a giant(ish) robot too, based on the hexabot design (http://www.instructables.com/id/Hexabot-Build-a-heavy-duty-six-legged-robot/) but scaled up, beefier motors and a larger size etc...wont be as good as his but meh  8) could ship it over to the states and have a showdown :P

hey thats an idea giant robot wars! hehe ^^
