Gemel ND5 car alarm install manual needed
« on: July 06, 2011, 06:00:13 PM »
Totally off topic and not related to robotics, however it is electronics related. As this is the only forum I use, I thought I might as well ask  ;D

Anyone familiar with Gemel ND5 car alarm system? And by any chance anyone has an install manual or know where to get one?

P.S. Google does not help, spent whole day looking for it - no useful results what so ever.

Car alarm install manuals are hard to find for a reason....

If the thief knew how to install it he'd know how to disable it.

I'd say your best bet would be a place that once installed that type of system.

If I knew where it was I'd definitely go there. I am the forth owner of the car.

I've just bought a car and it did not come to head to check if alarm works. After I brought it home and tried to activate it it didn't work, so I decided to check it out. Guess what I've found - most of wires were cut and there were no original connections to cars wire network. Anyway, I took whole system out to try to fix it, however without wiring manual it's not much I can do  :(

Why not just leave it out?  I'm 100% sure you can find your car's wiring diagrams online somewhere.

It is out at the moment and it will be as long as it is not working  ;D

It's not the cars wiring diagram I'm after  ;D

Anyway, thanks for effort to help  :)

Google turned up this among others - but it's $35.

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
