Paddles(flippers) Construction/Installment
« on: August 04, 2011, 06:33:54 PM »
I need help on how to construct paddles on my robot. Do I attach the to my treads, or what can I do to successfully attach them to my robot? I would also like to know more on how to make them? I would love any type of comment or suggestion for this even if your not quite sure.

Something just like this (located in the link below), right?  Your going to have to use two servos to rotate them, but I'm not sure how your going to install motors when the servos.  I've actually been looking for something like this to.  If someone who is knowledgeable with treads could help us, I'd really appreciate it.

In case you don't know what the purpose of paddles is... They are used to flip your robot on the correct side if your robot flips over on its back.

If you want to know what they look like... Click on the link that Sylvestre sent me(second comment) and you will see how the paddles are constructed on the robot with treads.
