How to replace DPDT slide switch with a wire?

I know this should be common knowledge, but i do not understand how i could replace the switch with the wire. Please inform how to replace the switch with a wire so as the device would be on while it is plugged in.

Ask yourself what the purpose of the switch is and how you'd draw a switch as well as how you'd draw a wire(/short).
