sharp IR connection?
« on: February 16, 2008, 01:33:23 PM »
Hi,

I have a sharp IR i am testing.  I connect the red to +4.5 V, green to ground, and yellow to my volt meter.

Should I expect the voltage to change on my volt meter as I move an object close and far from the sensor?

If so, why wouldn't this value change?  I also tried a second sensor and had the same result  :-\

Any Ideas?

Oh - my  constant value is the 2.3V (max output) that I get.  :(
