is this only one piece?

for example should a rather complex piece be sent as one part or as multiple simple parts?

and very nice offer ! This is a great way to advertise!

What if its multiple parts of the same design and in total still fit under 9"x9"?

Aluminum?

Whats your smallest feature size? Smallest hole size?

As long as it is in a single DXF file or Big Blue Saw Designer file, we'll count it as one part.

The materials will probably be waterjet cut 0.125" (1/8") aluminum 6061 and laser cut 0.118" clear acrylic.

The smallest reasonably good hole is about 0.1". Smaller than that, and they start to get irregular, particularly with waterjet cutting. Our FAQ section has more info about part quality. In particular, you might want to read these:

Please tell your friends about this promotion and make sure to spread the word online in this and other forums.

I have a question

Would it be alright if I posted up a .dxf file of lets say a servo bracket on this forum? Because everyone needs servo brackets and would use this free service to get servo brackets.

Also what is the limit per part? Is it one per household or one per person in the house ?

Also, how much would it cost to make multiples of the parts I request?

Post whatever DXF files you want.

The limit is 1 per person.

You can get an accurate quote for larger quantities, different materials, etc. by using the quoting system on the website.

if the limit is 9x9, can we have multiple parts in that square as long as the parts a simple enough?

as long as it is submitted as one file it will be counted as one part...
and to simon, will there be any more of these "free part days"?

The first Free Part Day was over long ago. The new sale has far fewer restrictions.

One of these days, yes. We will have to figure out something big to go toward promoting it. Maybe some sort of  contest on Twitter.
