kinda pricey specially for that slip ring connector $94 bucks? I'd seriously explore making one myself before I payed that. Kinda a cool design though.

These look pretty cool. For one they are much faster than other modular robots I've seen, which makes 'em just much better...
I also really like their attitude, sharing all their knowledge, just so more people would make some, and thus more progress will be made.

Now let's hope some hobbyists find cheaper replacement parts or DIY solutions for expensive parts.
Once these can be made for 30$ a piece I can really see some awesome robots with 50 modules  ::) ;D
