"wireless buttons" (by which I mean buttons connected to RF transmitters) are usually expensive, you could connect 5 buttons to one microcontroller connected to something like a BlueSmirf on the other side.  Similarly for the motors.

If you can give us more detail about what this is for, we can help more.

well i am working on this project, its like a space ship (dont want to go into too much detail) inside the controlls including the wirless buttons.  I believe i need 10 buttons two per motor for each of its function (forward and reverse).  On the outside the 5 motors.   And one of my main goals is so there wouldnt be any wires going from these wires into the space ship.

please any help would be nice, price i dont want to spend too much but i want to know my possiblities. please post links to what i might need.

Thanks alot.

wireless = expensive. expect something with at least two zeros per item (eur or usd)
you could get the state of all 10 buttons and encode them in one single message. this way, it would be cheaper, but you will have to brew it yourself. infrared is also cheap.
Check out my homepage for in depth tutorials on microcontrollers and electronics.

not true!

I bought an ultra cheap remote controlled car for like $10 and hacked the wireless button circuitry. Pretty simple with just a multimeter, too.
