servos, speed vs torque?

the only downside to using digital servos over analog ones is that they draw more power, right?  and if you use a modified servo for a helicopter propeller, do you want high speed or high torque?

you need RPM in the range of 0000's, and enough torque to compensate for the weight of the body.
hacked servos are not up to this task.
