« on: December 11, 2008, 06:24:48 PM »
I need some help on this! Ok I have a science major project! I am trying to make something like a big box... It has wheels on it... and I could use a remote control to control it...  I need this help badly well... it suppose to have a another layer in it that could be push to a smaller thing...

there is a small hole on the top to put trash in it like plastic or cans then it will be smash together into a smaller cube or smash it up flat... it will be a hole on the bottom or somewhere else to eject he cube so the trash would be smaller. and i want it to have a bulb when it is finish...

Here is a URL for a pic for what I mean...

These are my favorite kind of people, the ones that make there title, "help!!!", give a picture or two of a poorly labeled MS Paint blueprint, and state what they want it to do in the most basic of english, so much where we cant understand them. I am not meaning to bash, but does anyone read the "read this before posting" thread.

DONT TITLE YOUR THREADS WITH WORDS LIKE "HELP" or "I NEED ASSSISTANCE" or any deviation of the two

provide more details and dont tell us its for your science fair, cuz nobody likes doing other peoples homework...

You will need LOTS of power to smash trash into a cube. So huge I know you cant do it on a box like that. I would reccomend just ignoring the smashing part and have a RC trash cube thing.

They make trash compactors for home use (they kind of look like really small dishwashers).  You could build a mobile robot base, put one of those home compactors on top, and have them share the same power supply (which would require more power than your usual robot).  Basically, you want to build an intelligent trash compactor with wheels.  This is all very possible and should be easy to implement, if you do a little research.
