Also wear clothes... Darn some months ago, I was desoldering and some how solder poured from the tip of the soldering iron to my leg...Still I have the burn... And believe be it's not nice hearing you skin burning...
With 40 C degrees outside and NO AC!!! You can only ware a pair of boxers...
Then why use the iron? Just use a magnifying glas... If you drop that, won't hurt anythig and it will also save on your electricity bill
