Molex crimp housing / terminal pins in UK

I have spent quite a while searching for the kind of connectors used in the wire connector tutorial:
http://www.societyofrobots.com/electronics_wire_connector.shtml
. I don't seem to be able to find them in England (and I don't fancy paying £12 shipping from DigiKey) so I was wondering if anyone knew if they are called something different in the UK or know any suppliers over here!
The best I have found are
http://www.rapidonline.com/Cables-Connectors/Connectors-Multipole/PCB-Interconnect/2.54mm-KK-PCB-Connectors/66414
but they are quite fat and I don't want to have to space apart my headers on the circuit board!
Thanks for your help :-)

Hi,
I would have thought that you knew Maplin, who's got what you're after

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?

Yeah I have checked out Maplin, however they only seem to sell the fat ones like the ones I linked above :-)

You might have to ask them.
Here's the SL series right on Molex' site:
http://www.molex.com/molex/products/listview.jsp?query=70066&path=cHome%23%23-1%23%23-1%7E%7Eq3730303636%7E%7EncCRIMPHOUSINGS%23%230%23%233j&offset=0&autoNav=2&sType=a&filter=&fs=&channel=Products&Lang=en-US
The U.K. Distributor is
Molex UK, A Branch of Molex
Molex House, Millennium Center
Farnham, Surrey GU97XX England
Tel: +44 (1252) 720720
Fax: +44 (1252) 720721
E-mail:
[email protected]
Give them a call, or drop them an email, asking for retail sale - or you might tell them that you're working on a robot and ask whether you could buy some as samples (you might be lucky and get some for free).
