Do you by any chance have a model number for the mouse? That might help get some answers

@Frodo - are you asking 'how do I put the mouse back together?' or 'what can I use wires for?'  ;D

If you are asking is you can use the connector and want to know which pin on the connector goes to which wire, the use a multimeter to check each pin with each wire. If you don't have a multimeter, create some small circuit with a lamp or LED and use that.

What do you want exactly? Use the wires? Use the connectors?

Yeah.

You could use the wires to create a sort of quick disconnect thing on one of your robots if you get a female port to plug the connector into. Solder the port onto your robot board and hook the other wires up to a Serial jack or something.
