multiple Vss and Vdd pins

If you have a chip like the dsPIC30F3011 with multiple Vss and Vdd pins.  Are all the Vss and Vdd pins connected respectively within the chip?  i.e. can you connect power to only one set? ...and can you daisy chain power into one set and out another set to power another low power device?

They are supposed to be connected....
Daisy chain.......... well......... I think it's a no no.....
Basically... ground pins is almost sure that are connected together....
But high rail isn't supposed at all....
Many manufactures get the high rail input at a TQFP or so package (square package or almost square)
the power pin input on almost all sides, not only to power different ports or peripherals, but also to suspend noise
in the interior of the microcontroller...
Even if these are connect from inside (test with a multimeter)...
I would say it's tragic to parallel power another device.... It's a big no no.....
You don't even know how much current the inside of the micro can handle (expect only some milliamperes)

well.... I say no.... don't do it...
It will be a matter of time before power line burn short within the microcontroller.... not bothering for other things..........
For whom the interrupts toll...
