noooooooooooo.
So far we have 3 different sites for OSCAR.
The sourceforge site by Asellith and two freewebs or whatever.
This is really unfair to Asellith in my opinion. He is the only on who has announced his intent to open a space for the OSCAR project. If you didn't like the idea of a sourceforge project you had plenty of time to say so. Opening a new web site now, completely out of the blue is not being nice to Asellith who has be working on it for some time.
And moreover, from a purely technical point of view, the sourceforge idea is way better that a custom website hosted by I don't know who. It includes a forum, wiki, web space, version control tools, bug tracker, user management... We don't have to take car of updating these, the SF admins do it for us. And we would have a better visibility from the open source community.
Anyway, if you are really eager to have a web space, proposed your help to Asellith. And to be frank, we don't really need a dedicated website right now and its better to wait for a well thought solution.
