Anyone used this?
« on: June 19, 2009, 02:54:38 PM »
Ok so this follows my previous post in the misc section. I think it deserves another topic, but i suggest reading my first post. But yeah, has anyone heard or seen this : http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/ocz_peripherals/nia-neural_impulse_actuator

Do you think i could use it for a brain to computer interface. I would then use the info from the headset to control a robot.

Any ideas?
Need help with an algorithm or a maths related problem? Ill be glad to help :)

i reckon if you can use it for gaming there would be pretty good chance that it would work

but i think it would take some quite complexe code to get it up and running

but i think it is a great idea, contact them and ask some questions and see what they say

and google emotive head sets, they are also invoved in neural response technology

Iv contacted them and the 'researchers' headset is allready being sold at $500 with software to help integrate the headset into ones applications. I'll try and get one, but first I need to somehow get $500!

EEGs are hard for experts, I wouldn't recommend it as your first big project :P

Plus, your hair will get all gunky when you use the electrolyte. O0
