Trampoline type armor
« on: July 05, 2009, 03:28:01 PM »
This is an idea I had. The machine wouldhave metal from with drilled hole every couple of inches. Then springs would be put in the holes- like a trampoline. Then the mesh would be put on and connected to the springs. If a rock was thrown at it if the springs held it would bounce the rock of making the machine light weight and somewhat tough. For battle bots it would work against most everything except maybe spinning things

and flamethrowers.  ::) but seriously, what weapons would be left after those three things?

another idea have flaps that go down and the other robot rides up on them and has no traction and thenpnematic hits it and knocks it out of the ring
my english teacher once said, "dont talk about what you dont know in public...."

so I replied the truth, " Exactly why I dont ever talk about English."

Have like a solenoid the puts a gate at the front so the other robot cant get out and then the gate goes back in and then another solenoid would push them out.
