Hi everyone!
For any of you who've seen my robot, NINA Version 0.1, I'm thinking about selling some of my robot's big and heavy pieces to make way for a lighter construction. For instance, the wheelchair motors, the 12V 35 AH SLA battery used to power them...maybe even the 3" lynxmotion tracks and the sprockets that went with them. I've found some much better and cheaper materials for my project and the way NINA Version 0.1 turned out is too big, heavy, and dangerous for a household robot (especially with a new baby nephew around for parts of the month...not that my robot would be operational when he's around anyway, but.....)
I'm thinking of selling them on ebay, but it doesn't look like there are too many bidders for batteries and wheelchair motors lately (especially if the wheelchair motors have had their brakes physically removed

).
Does anyone know of a good, more "direct" way of selling these materials to people who, for instance, are building battlebots? Now that I've found new resources and the proper niche design for NINA, I have no idea what I'm going to do with the other stuff. The sad part is, this big heavy, bulky stuff "works!" The battery's hardly been used, the wheelchair motors run great (minus the brakes), and the pair of 3" 42-linked lynxmotion tracks are still in very nice condition (but I've found better tracks more suited for my project).
Anyone know of any direct places to sell these parts, like to people who are making battlebots? Thanks!
