Idea
« on: July 18, 2009, 02:38:54 PM »
OK so I'm siting here listening to my mp3 and an idea popped into my head.. you can listen to music with music freedom... why not have the ability to watch tv, movies and maybe even be on a computer with the same freedom? maybe a screen that you could move over one eye so you can still have moving ability.... anything like this seen yet?
my english teacher once said, "dont talk about what you dont know in public...."

so I replied the truth, " Exactly why I dont ever talk about English."

You can buy some video eyepieces and hook them up to a wireless video receiver, and then connect the tv/etc other stuff to the transmitter in your house.

I'll have to admit it would be pretty cool to see someone take one of those lenses and do something microcontroller related with it, man that would be sweet.

lol well  guess it would cause problems simllar to texting... I guess you can cal it a good idea that could lead to bad things.... I think it would be nice for portable dvd players as seen in cars though I know myself that its hard to watch a 6 inch screen that far away... you could have a 1-2 inch screen right in your face so you can view it a lot better

I dont know... having the video screen right in your face kind of hurts even more in my opinion.

yup, if the screen is that close, it will most likely give your eyes fatigue... (the sore feeling)

when the pro's develop something like that they have to pass the image through a reducer to make the screen seem furthur away and inturn creating less stress on the human eye. If you were to look at a screen close up it can damage your vision, and not be repairable.

i thought this was just an old wives tale! their hasn't really been that much conclusive evidence to support this other than some animal testing that resulted in the animals getting short sightedness...
can it seriously damage your eyes?

that's what i have heard, it has something to do with the bending of the lense apparentl.

and if you look at something up close you can not focus, that is to do with the lense not being able to be flat enough to capture all of the image and light.

you could have a camera hooked up so that it looks at the tv then it sends the info in binary(not sure) to a reciever in the glasses, and then it is hooked up to the glasses
