hey mate, another aussie!
remember its $50us... which is about $70 for us :P i got my servos from ebay for about $22 a piece but they're not still up on ebay :-\ you can have a look at hs-422 which are about ~$25 shipped each... pricey...

there is another user on here from australia that knew of a very cheap source of servos, ive emailed him asking what the site address was and will post it here when i get it.

hey i live in australia too :D

do you have any local hobby shops or model shops that sell model airplanes, you can get some good deals from them. But watch out on some items they bump up the price big time.

yes! hs-311's $14ea! 4xhs-311 $55.40! http://www.duanesplanes.com.au/home.php?cat=2
thanks to Cory Thompson for providing me with the link!
and if you really want to go for a dc motor with h bridge, local stores like jaycar sell l293D's.

i agree that jaycar are useless when it comes to more than components, they're better than dse but... they suck.
These are the postage rates for one hs-311 servo to albury nsw 2641.
    Flat Rate Shipping (AUD $5.50)
Pickup from Ashtonfield NSW 2323 (AUD $0.00)
   Australia Post Express Parcels - 2 day(s) (AUD $8.00)
i don't believe it would be much more for two or three servos, me, id go for the 4 pack!
EDIT: here are the rates australia wide: damn fine ;)

Spend
between                Postage
Cost
$0.01 to $10.00    $2.50
$10.01 to $30.00    $5.50
$30.01 to $60.00    $6.50
$60.01 to $100.00    $7.50
$100.01 to $150.00    $10.50
$150.01 to $200.00    $12.50
$200.01 and up      $10.50
