Benchtop Power supply shopping
« on: September 18, 2009, 08:44:29 PM »
I need to buy a decent benchtop power supply. MINIMUM 3 amp rating, at least two channels (would like to have three) and I need +/- 18 volts min. 40 V or more would be nice.

What's the best place to get this kind of device?

I figured I'd contribute to this wildly popular topic by asking for opinions on this particular benchtop supply. For 200 dollars it is quite... Capable.

3 channels, one is 0-30V DC, 3 amp, adjustable.

One is 5 volts fixed, 1 amp max. Other is 12 volts fixed, 1 amp max.

I'd recommend the second one for that price, plus it's grounded too.

Thanks!

I'm leaning towards that one too.
