Help on the $50 Robot circuit

 My 5v regulator is going nuts with 9v battery plugged in and I think its because a bridge between GND and + via ceramic capacitor. My multimeter says there is 0 resistance between these two. I don't know what else to do. I tried resoldering and stuff. Maybe these two pics would help :x

Hi,

I think its because a bridge between GND and + via ceramic capacitor. My multimeter says there is 0 resistance between these two. I don't know what else to do. I tried resoldering and stuff. Maybe these two pics would help :x
A little less solder would help - and more control with where it goes.
You probably created a solder bridge and judging from your photos, you really need to practise.

Desolder the entire circuit. Tin wire ends and pads. resolder with minimum amount of added solder.

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?

Either the above or, trace around all the parts until you find where the bridge is... Otherwise soeren's option is all you have.

No, a capacitor should measure infinite ohms. It's purpose is to stabilize against noise transients.
