I would like to use a breadboard, but someone posted that would make it more difficult. Why is that?
Also, if I use a breadboard, which should I use, where should I get it, and would the layout stay the same?
Soldering is something you can learn to be decent at within an hour or so of practice. Browse youtube for soldering tutorial videos before you start. Then practice for a bit on a breadboard before adding components just to make sure you have the hang of it.

If you're in the US, just get the one in my tutorial from Radio Shack. They have several options, so you can look at them in person and see what you like.
