hyperterminal Set up seeing data problems

i cant get the hyper terminal to work.... halp...

Im doing the tutorial  getting started part #2

im stuck on step #4
where it says  Select your COM port and baud rate (115.2kbps), then click connect. You should immediately start seeing data. 

not seeing any data here on the terminal!!!!!!!

Are you sure you are using the right COM port?
